Honolulu
In 2015, Nigel Scott travelled to Hawaii, and based on his encounters and experiences, he photographed Honolulu for the 28th edition of the Portraits de Villes series, published by Les éditions be-pôles. In August 2016, Scott sent a signed copied of the book to then-President Barack Obama and his wife and daughters. Many of the photographs in the book were taken near the high school Obama attended when he lived in Honolulu. A month later, Scott received a thoughtful reply from the White House.
