Wave Is Forever
G. Gallery, Taipai, Taiwan, May 10 to June 2, 2019
Nigel Scott’s solo exhibition Wave Is Forever featured different commercial collaborations and artistic photography from 1985 to 2003. Most of them were created in Toronto, Paris, New York and Japan. The exhibition also carried Scott’s cyanotypes, which highlight his unique take on the colour blue and the developing posture of plants. His art not only conveys his love and respect for the ocean, but also echoes the title of the exhibition, Wave Is Forever, presenting the message he wants to express about the ocean and the natural environment: “When the waves stop, the planet will die, too.”
